I'm Sorry

The rocket pattern has been moved to the back-burner for now. It's a matter of shifting priorities....again. Evidently, my sense of time and holiday schedules is WAY out of whack. (Did you all know Thanksgiving is in like four days?....It was news to me as of this morning!) Nevermind, my frustration with the project has overwhelmed my need to please. So, I'll try to have it finished before the first of the year. Sorry again, ya'll.

Re-Final Session

There hasn't been much to show lately, mostly because I came down with a severe case of artistic insecurity. It happens. It wasn't until very late in the game that I decided not to care and I let myself go and embraced the lazy, slow approach and I'm happier with the end result of that shift.

S l o w l y . . . .

...making my way to the final frontier here, I swear. In fact, I've sworn a lot since starting this whole designing-and-writing-and-knitting-and-writing thing started. There's just gotta be a special place in heaven for people with the patience enough to do this a living or even just for a day. At the very least, there's gotta be a patron saint of knit design, right? Maybe if I pray to her, my brain will stop hurting.

More of the same, but have switched it up a little to break out of a perplexing brain block. Sorry about the poor photo quality; the sketchbook is actually a bright red. You get the idea though.
